AnnaMaria Pasley-Horn

Welcome to my GRADUATION DAY! If you are here its because you saw me perform “Feeling Good” and/or  “The National Anthem” at the 2026 Commencement for Lansing Community College . It was an honor to perform with The Lansing Concert Band at my own graduation. Today is particularly special because a significant goal was reached; have a degree before my 1st child graduated from high school. (She graduates in June.) at LCC I’ve earned 2 AA’s, the first in Pre-Music Therapy/Music Education and General Associates. While this is the beginning of my journey towards becoming a music therapist, today will remain a special moment in time.

While you’re here, you’ll learn a little more about what I’ve been up to, download my music (3rd album, 2nd album, 1st album)  and watch videos. To find out what’s coming up next in real time, be sure to follow me on social media. Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.

While at LCC, the music program challenged me to try different genres of music that I wouldn’t  have particularly chosen for myself. And today for the first time, I want to share my 1st public performance singing opera! I have hesitated in sharing this because its not my chosen style of music. My children think I did great. But I’m not sure. This is a special viewing that I am only sharing with you on this site. I’m not sure how long I’ll keep it up. So be sure to let me know if you think I should share more songs in this genre.  Song/video 1 and Song/Video 2.

Below is more information about me and some of the bands that I perform with.

Annamaria Pasley-horn

multi-genre vocalist & recording artist

Born and raised in South Florida, AnnaMaria Pasley-Horn first stepped into the spotlight at age six as the featured vocalist in her family’s ensemble. That early experience sparked a lifelong passion for performance and opened the door to a career rooted in creativity, collaboration, and community. From touring as a solo artist to mentoring young performers in voice, theater, and dance, her work continues to evolve across genres and settings.

Today, AnnaMaria is a vibrant presence in Michigan’s music scene. She performs regularly with the Lansing Community College Jazz Band and the Lansing Concert Band, blending jazz phrasing, soulful expression, and theatrical storytelling in her performances. She is also the vocalist for Horn & Holland, a jazz duo with her husband, Darren Horn, and frequently shares the stage with her children in their family ensemble, The Horn Section 7. Whether performing with a jazz combo, a concert band, or alongside her multitalented family, AnnaMaria approaches music as a space for connection, creativity, and growth. Her heart for people and her deep commitment to the arts continue to shape her work both on and off the stage.

Mr. & Mrs. Horn

jazz pianist & vocalist

It was in the fall of 2006 when Darren Horn and AnnaMaria Pasley would meet each other in person for the first time. Darren was looking for a bi-lingual recording artist who was spiritual, had versatility, and range. AnnaMaria was looking for a manager to help manage her burgeoning itinerant career as a gospel recording artist. Traveling from Detroit to downtown Seattle to watch and hear AnnaMaria perform was Darren’s  only assignment. 19 years married and 5 children later, clearly God had other plans! The fusion of the musicality and sound that emanates from these two vessels has lead to several recordings, platforms, events, and festivals. Mr. Horn-an accomplished jazz pianist, music producer, and sound engineer has most recently released recordings as a solo artist and as part of the jazz duo Horn and Holland. AnnaMaria-has a couple of new songs cookin’ up for release soon too. Come and experience the love, the joy, the passion that is Mr. and  Mrs. Horn.
